The young women who seek our aid often evince destructive traits. Because of their inability to deal with the difficulties that they encounter, they often adopt self-destructive tendencies.

The young girls and women who seek our help often evince destructive tendencies. Incapable of dealing with the problems they are faced with, they adopt self-destructive behaviors (taking drugs, suicide attempts, prostitution, failing school, delinquency, etc.) They are searching for foundations on which to rebuild their personalities; they want to create their own values to liberate themselves from their familial constraints. They also need to live harmoniously in a society that sometimes perpetuates prejudices against their families. The continual rejection from both their families and society provokes an identity crisis. To help alleviate this, the Association has created a psychological support service, to which five psychologists donate their time. Requests for this service have steadily increased since its inception, and more and more people are on the waiting lists for sessions.

The actions of the Association have often contributed to the reestablishment of the connection between girls and their families. Certain girls (the warriors of the Association) who keep to their studies succeed and have positive influence over the younger ones. We have noticed that certain young women who are out of school and/or unemployed have once again taken up their studies or continued their professional lives after having passed through the Association and having participated in the activities there.
